Sometimes circumstances and events in our lives creates a tangled mess of our thoughts and feelings which leave us feeling helpless, lost, confused, anxious and stressed. Through my life experiences, education, skills, and training I can assist you in unravelling the thoughts that are preventing you from moving forward to live a normal and healthy life. Psychiatric consultation is available through a group of psychiatrist I work with for help with diagnosis and medication if required, through your doctor. This includes ADHD, mood or behavioural assessment. Direct bill to insurance is also available.
My approach is based on drawing from the multiple theories and perspectives of psychotherapy. I am a registered Psychotherapist based in Greater Toronto Area. I completed my undergraduate studies in Psychology at York University, Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology (MACP) at Yorkville University, and a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapist of Ontario. I specialize in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Hypnotherapy (C.Hyp) and I am Gottman trained couples /marriage /relationship counsellor.
I will work with you in a non-judgmental, compassionate, & caring environment to address the feelings and behaviours arising from inner conflicts of your thoughts and core beliefs. This process involves a collaborative approach to develop useful skills and tools to help you navigate life challenges.

Couples relationship counselling using the Gottman Method. The goals of Gottman Method Couples Therapy are to disarm conflicting verbal communication; increase intimacy, respect, and affection; remove barriers that create a feeling of stagnancy, and create a heightened sense of empathy and understanding within the context of the relationship.

Cognitive hypnotherapy combines cognitive behavioural therapy and hypnosis with theories based on modern neuroscience. Cognitive hypnotherapy is used to positively influence emotional, behavioural, cognitive and symptomatic change. This branch of hypnosis is different from traditional schools of hypnotherapy. This technique draws influence from a range of theories and combines them so that they fall in line with the client’s personal goals, values and needs.
